Paul Geppert – who am I, what I do, and what I am about.
I am Paul Bernhard Geppert. I grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa, whereI lived most of my life, but I have immigrated to New Zealand with my wife and son. I have an excellent sense of right and wrong, a great sense of humour, I get great satisfaction from helping and always look forward to a new adventure.
Although i have spent most of my working life involved with motorcycles, I have a wide range of interests including:
Mountain biking, camping, stand up paddle boarding, surfing, skateboarding, drumming, exercising and working out, reading, cooking and motorcycle racing. I really enjoy working with my hands and doing physical work. I love building project motorcycles and creating items for use around the house and in the garage.
My family is very important to me and provide a happy and comforting environment for me to relax and enjoy life with.
I hold qualifications as a motorcycle mechanic, with over 20 years experience and having completed my New Zealand qualification with Mito, and as a chef, having completed a two year professional cooking program at the Hotel school of the Witwatersrand.
I have completed a range of courses over the years including Red cross first aid, offshore survival and fire fighting, Safe heavy lifting practices, customer satisfaction, basic computer skills, Damlin basic business management program and a Motul lubrication program. I also have course recognition with the following brands: Indian motorcycles – gold level, KTM – Silver level, Yamaha – Bronze level. I believe in constantly bettering yourself and that you are never too old to stop learning.
